Your Annual Plan, Now with a Monthly Twist (50% Off!)

We just launched a new payment plan: Annual plans, billed monthly. You can now get a full year’s credits, spread over 12 months, at 50% of the monthly plan's cost.

JK. Since I'm supposed to keep you in the loop (and I actually like my job), here's the full rundown.

How does the new monthly installment plan work?

The new plan works almost exactly like the normal monthly plan– you’re billed monthly, and your credits reset & expire monthly too. The difference? 

You save 50% of the cost. You’re charged half the price of a monthly plan, for the same good value.

It’s perfect for folks who know they will get long-term usage out of our prospecting and data-enrichment tools, but find the lump sum payment a little daunting.

What is this cancellation policy?

The Annual Plan Billed Monthly requires a 12-month commitment. Cancelling before the 12-month mark will incur a cancellation fee for the remaining unused months.

Say you’re on the Lite tier with the Annual Plan Billed Monthly. You subscribed on January 15. If you cancel your payment plan, one of three things could happen:

  • Cancel before December 14: Cancellation fees apply since you have not completed the 12-month commitment. You would have to pay for any unused months. In this case, it would be one unused month at $49.
  • Cancel after December 16: No cancellation fee as you’d have fulfilled the annual commitment.
  • Cancel on December 15 (your renewal date): Tricky. Whether or not a cancellation fee applies will depend on your exact cancellation time.

Note: Downgrading your plan also counts as canceling it. This is because it requires you to sign a brand new 12-month commitment.

Of course, we hope not to enforce this. Cancellation fees aren't fun for anyone. 

Why the new monthly billing plan?

Previously, we only offered a straight Monthly plan and an Annual plan. This legacy monthly option has gone up from $49 to $98.

To replace it, we're introducing the new Annual Plan Billed Monthly, starting at $49.

Four reasons why we did this, which I’ll be transparent about.

  • To reduce churn. We want to encourage commitment and cut down on short-term users. Churn is a killer for any business trying to grow, and this helps stabilize our customer base.
  • Business continuity. We need to make sure it's sustainable to keep offering these better rates, while still investing in constant feature upgrades and platform improvements.
  • Fair rates. We want to maintain a fair system for users who trust in our capabilities enough to commit to the annual pricing.
  • Flexibility. Hick’s Law says that we shouldn’t present you with too many options, lest you struggle to make a decision. We say screw that, you get to choose your destiny (and flexibility in payments). 

We require a double opt-in for the Annual Plan Billed Monthly, to make absolutely sure you’re aware you’re subscribing to long-term usage of our growth tools. So, be doubly sure you want this as well!

How does renewing this new plan work?

The Annual Plan Billed Monthly has auto-renewal enabled, just as all our other pricing plans do.

If you don’t want to renew it, you can simply:

  • Let your subscription expire by not paying the next bill
  • Or cancel it directly (after completing the 12-month commitment). 

Either way, you're free to go with zero cancellation fees. No strings attached.

Planning to stay with us but it slipped your mind? You'll have a 2-day grace period to sort things out.

If you miss this window, your service with us will stop. Nothing dramatic, but until you renew your plan, you won't be able to use our tools to generate those valuable leads.

I’m on the legacy monthly plan, do I need to switch?

Well, count yourself lucky!

As thanks for sticking with us right from the beginning, you can choose to stick to this plan. You will not be automatically switched.
