We Built a Sales Prospector– Beta Version Now Available!

Smart, simple, and precise: Sapiengraph’s Sales Prospector. Say that fast twice.

We just launched a beta version of our sales Prospector! 🎉 We’ve always made it easy for you to pull and enrich data within the all-powerful Google Sheets, but now we’ve made it even easier. Explain-it-like-I’m-five easy.

We built our Prospector to cover three use cases that are most valuable for you: searching for

  1. People,
  2. Companies, and
  3. Customers (of a competitor).

This beta version brings one of these to you.

The People Prospector helps you search for profiles based on filters, like name, country, job title, and past employment history. I don’t want to brag but it’s pretty neat.

Overview of Sapiengraph's People Prospector

Yep, all that is in an intuitive dashboard at the click of a button.

As for the Company Prospector and Customer Prospector functions, they’re coming soon! Keep your eyes peeled.

For the impatient, you can try it right now.

For everyone else, keep reading.

Features of the Sapiengraph Prospector

Find profiles based on filters

We offer three types of filters to help nail your search: Personal Filter, Current Employment, and Past Employment.

If you have multiple search terms for a field, separate them with a comma. For instance, under company industry, you can search ‘e-commerce, ecommerce’.

Separate values e-commerce and ecommerce with comma

Personal Filter

Personal Filter allows you to filter by attributes like name, country, industries, and skills.

Imagine you’re a recruiter or talent acquisition personnel for a tech company. You’re looking for a software engineer who:

  1. is located in United States,
  2. is skilled in machine learning, C++ and Python
  3. and studied at Carnegie Mellon University
Search results of filtering for skills, schools and country
Example of using the Personal Filter

Voilà. Combine our Prospector with a slew of other talent acquisition tools to bring your hiring to the next level.

Current Employment

Current Employment filters by attributes like the current company’s description, job title, and funding amount.

Now let’s say you’re a B2B sales executive, looking to sell your software product to another company.

You’ll want to start your outbound sales efforts with:

  1. account managers
  2. whose job is to handle CRM (customer relationship management)
  3. and works in an e-commerce company
Search results of filtering for job title and company industry
Example of using the Current Employment filter

Hope you’re ready to hit your sales quota.

Past Employment

Past Employment filters by attributes like past company, past job description, and past job title.

Now you've become the final boss: a venture capitalist. You’re looking for potential founders who might create the next unicorn for your investment.

You want someone who used to work at:

  1. Google
  2. as a product manager
Search results of filtering for past company and past job title
Example of using Past Employment filter

There you have it.

You can use all three filters at the same time. Try looking for someone

  • located in United States
  • currently working in an e-commerce company
  • and used to work as a product manager

Sapiengraph’s Prospector will do all that tedious research for you. We’re not a dating app, but our filters will try to find you the perfect match. ;-)

Unlock profiles to get contact data and social media

The Prospector first returns locked profiles. To view a prospect’s information in full, you have to unlock it.

This is what a locked and unlocked profile look like:

Locked and unlocked prospect profiles

Even when locked, you can still see if certain information is missing or private. It’s marked as ‘None Found’.

When unlocked… well, everything’s ripe for the taking. You get access to their linked social media profiles, contact information, and more.

The best part is: that once a profile is unlocked, it stays unlocked forever. Refreshing the Prospector doesn’t consume more credits.

Export as CSV

And of course; we never forget our roots. The Prospector allows you to export your prospects’ data as CSV.

How to export your prospect profiles as CSV

You can work with the data in Excel, Google Sheets, or even upload it to your favorite email marketing tools. Salesforge, Instant.ly, and Smartlead.ai all support CSV, so you’re good to go.

We’re like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, but we also connect you to your leads’ Facebook and Twitter/X profiles (when available), and let you export their information to CSV.

Pricing

We know this matters most to you, so let’s get straight to it.

I have great news for you–this bonus feature comes at no extra charge.

Our sales Prospector is already included in every plan. No surprises here; be it Lite, Pro, or Business Plan, we stick to using the existing credits from your chosen plan.

Why? We believe in fair pricing. You get added value to your business, and we enjoy growth from happy customers (and referrals, if you would be so nice). So please use us a lot. :-)

Just a heads-up: unlocking a prospect uses 30 credits. Say you want to unlock the first 5 results on this page. It would consume 150 credits. For all 10 on this page? 300 credits. You get it.

Different options to unlock prospect profiles
You can choose to unlock all results, one page, selected rows, or just one row only

See Sapiengraph’s pricing plans. We start from $49/month, for as many users as you desire.

How fresh is the data in the Sapiengraph Prospector?

Since we’re still in beta, we can’t promise the freshest data for Sapiengraph’s Prospector just yet. The data is pulled from a snapshot of Proxycurl’s LinkDB dataset.

If fresh data is non-negotiable for you, fresh profile scraping is available as an add-on for our Data Enrichment Spreadsheet Formulas. Profiles can be scraped in real time or, at the very least, updated within 29 days. You can do the same, using our custom Google Sheets formula: Person Search Formula.

Who is this Sapiengraph Prospector for?

While it’s fantastic at helping sales teams build lead lists specifically, anyone can use it.

Recruiters, HR or Talent Acquisition specialists looking for promising candidates, venture capitalists scoping out their next promising founder…

You name it, you can use our Prospector.

Are you excited yet?

Don’t wait. It’s now live.

You can play around with Sapiengraph’s Prospector in your dashboard, and let us know what you think.

But if you’re new to Sapiengraph, hi!

You get 100 free credits when you sign up for a Sapiengraph account, so that’s 3 profiles unlocked at no charge. No credit card needed either.
