7 Best ZoomInfo Alternatives 2025 (Review + Comparison)

While some features of ZoomInfo may be great on paper, are they suitable for your company in particular?  When searching for the right Zoominfo alternative, you’ll need to think about more than just B2B emailing lists and data.

This list will review each Zoominfo competitor to help you make the most informed choice!

For the sake of transparency, I know I work for Sapiengraph but the last thing you want to do is spend more time searching instead of getting your work done. I have researched and compiled the best resources so you don’t have to.

Is there anything better than ZoomInfo?

Sure is. I know it’s hard not to think of ZoomInfo when it comes to B2B email list providers. It is a convenient option for large companies to gather huge quantities of data.

But there are some downsides you might not have noticed, especially when it comes to data quality and accuracy, which are super important for anything data-related.

While ZoomInfo has a large database capacity, some users have expressed concerns about its outdated and inaccurate data issues while paying a high price.

One star review from a user accusing ZoomInfo of scamming
One star review about ZoomInfo incorrect data
One star review about ZoomInfo not honoring contract dates and unintuitive system

My criteria for finding the best ZoomInfo alternatives and competitors

To bring you the best alternatives for ZoomInfo, I have put myself in the shoes of a potential customer and sifted through reviews and customers’ testimonies.

As a customer, two of my biggest concerns were about data quality and pricing. I want the data to be accurate and frequently updated for a price that meets my budget. Then, I’ll look at added features and whether the software is easy to use.

So, in descending priority, my criteria looks like this.

  1. Data quality
  2. Pricing
  3. Added features
  4. Easy to use

Sapiengraph

Sapiengraph has a set of growth tools that only requires 5 minutes to find the data you need. They’re the Prospector and Data Enrichment Spreadsheets. There’s also a Job Change Tracker.

Data Quality + Accuracy

Let’s talk about the most important thing first: data quality and accuracy. Sapiengraph returns data with different levels of freshness, depending on the tool you're using.

Data freshness for Data Enrichment Spreadsheets

Our Data Enrichment Spreadsheets feature uses custom Google Sheets formulas to extract data from leads, right into– you guessed it– Google Sheets.

Fresh data is only returned for applicable formulas if you've enabled the Fresh Profile Scraping add-on in your Sapiengraph account.

We consider fresh data to be any profile scraped within the last 29 days. With the add-on, we guarantee data freshness within that timeframe.

If you don’t enable the add-on, there’s no freshness guarantee. Data will be pulled from our Proxycurl LinkDB database instead, so the results will depend on the most recent cached version.

Our Proxycurl LinkDB database is sourced from publicly available data from LinkedIn, Crunchbase, and more.*

Data freshness for Prospector

As for our Prospector tool, the data will also come from the most recent cached snapshot. We can’t guarantee the freshest data just yet, since the Prospector is still in beta at the time of writing.

According to SalesIntel, ZoomInfo’s database is a mix of data from several acquired providers, with RainKing and DiscoverOrg being the biggest contributors.

Although ZoomInfo claims to have the largest B2B database with over 220M business profiles and 150M emails, most data providers have a lot of overlap in their information, and merging databases often leads to redundancies.

So, if ZoomInfo picks up DiscoverOrg’s 5 million contacts, it doesn’t automatically mean they’ve added 5 million unique entries.

The frequency at which ZoomInfo updates its data is proprietary and not publicly disclosed in detail. Some sources claim updates occur daily, others suggest monthly, and some indicate that updates may not happen for months. As a result, it's unclear which information is accurate.

Data freshness for Job Change Tracker

As for our Job Change Tracker, we track any changes every 30 days.

Features

Prospector

Our Prospector has three categories: People, Companies, and Customers.

Our People Prospector allows you to search for specific people in your target segment, along with their personal email addresses, phone numbers, and LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter profiles.

There are 40+ personal and employment filters to specify the type of prospects you want.

For example, let’s find the emails of marketing managers of software development companies in Los Angeles for cold outreach.

Just like the People Prospector, our Companies Prospector allows you to search for specific companies. There are 14 filters such as industry, revenue, and employee count for you to specify properly the type of companies you want.

For example, let’s find the company emails of medical equipment manufacturing companies in Texas, USA with a minimum employee count of 10.

Lastly, our Customers Prospector allows you to find a company’s probable customers. Do note that we only search for B2B customers, not B2C.

This is most useful for finding who your competitor business's customers are.

For example, let’s search for the emails of Accenture's probable customers.

💡
Quick note about emails: We’ll make every effort to find them, but if we can’t, we’ll clearly display “None Found” to ensure you don’t unlock a profile that won’t be helpful.

Sapiengraph operates on a credit-based system, and the best part is that searching is entirely free!

You only use credits when you decide to unlock a specific profile (30 credits per profile). Whether you’re looking for one profile or thousands, you’re in full control of what you unlock.

To export your search, simply click the Export button on the top right.

Data Enrichment Spreadsheets

If you would like to enrich your prospects' data directly in your Google Sheet, we’re able to help you with that too. All you need is their LinkedIn URL.

Not just that, you can also enrich companies’ data.

Let’s say you have an email list and would like to find the LinkedIn profiles for each of them. You can do that too with our reverse email lookup formula.

We've got a more detailed guide on how to scrape LinkedIn data into your Google Sheets spreadsheet here.

Job Change Monitor

As the name suggests, this feature isn’t for finding emails or enriching data. Sapiengraph's Job Change Monitor great for tracking your current customers' or prospects’ job changes, so you can reach out at the right time.

Here’s how it works: We’ll monitor their LinkedIn profile for any updates or changes in their job details.

After you have signed up for an account and enabled the Chrome extension, you'll notice a green 'Monitor Job Change' button on every LinkedIn profile you visit.

You can also see the button on search results.

When you begin monitoring a profile, you’ll receive an email notification like this whenever there’s a job update.

Email notification of job changes

Also, every profile you monitor will show up in the Job Change Monitor List on your Sapiengraph dashboard.

Tracking a profile cost 20 credits. For plans billed monthly, credits will be deducted each month for every tracked profile.

For plans billed annually, credits will be deducted upfront for the entire year per tracked profile.

Ease of Use

The Prospector and Job Change Tracker are incredibly easy to use, with just a few button clicks to get things done.

The Google Sheets formulas might take a little time to learn but they’re designed to be straightforward and non-tech friendly. You’re probably already familiar with Google Sheets so I trust it won’t be a problem.

With all that said, Sapiengraph is suitable especially for individual sales reps, marketers, and recruiters who want to focus on the important parts of the business like making sales and finding the right prospects quickly.
